Before joining Market Designs, Ed Morris was eCommerce Marketing Manager at Worldspan, where he was responsible for the financial analyses and business justifications supporting eCommerce equity partnerships and online agency subscriber agreements.  Utilizing strong financial and analytical skills, he effectively developed and implemented custom pricing solutions and other financial analyses for large eCommerce customers such as Expedia, Orbitz and Priceline.

 

Ed made pivotal contributions to the growth of Worldspan’s corporate product sales, including Trip Manager.  He led the team responsible for increasing market penetration and brokering strategic partnership deals with third-party content suppliers to enhance the product portfolio and gain market share.

 

Prior to that, as Market Manager for Leisure Industry, he employed targeted account growth strategies, promotions and advertising to achieve 50% annual growth in leisure product sales.

 

Ed began his career as a Financial Consultant with Price Waterhouse.  He later applied his analytical skills in revenue management and strategic market planning roles at Northwest Airlines.

 

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University.
